The Sky's the Limit

Hello. This is a tiny post, just to tell all of you that I am now on Bluesky, about a year after I left Twitter, which has become a Nazi propaganda organization. I can no longer look at a capital X and unsee it as a swastika whose lower limbs have been axed off for purposes of disguise, the way mafia hitmen used to burn off their fingerprints with acid.

I am geneweingarten.bsky.social. I am using the avatar above. Those of you who recognize what it is will understand that this will be a freewheeling, no-apologies account when it really gets going, once I pierce through my miasma of stinky feeble old-man technological ineptitude.

Also, FWIW, getting onto Bluesky is a bit of a challenge. I found myself flummoxed for literally an hour by how to prove to them I was human, because this was the test. I am reproducing it here at full size:
