I had no idea myself. Once I send those things, they’re Pat’s and Gene’s to do what they want with. But the credit is always appreciated. I know better than to await a royalty check.

I am sending the check to you. It is exactly what I get, per strip. It's about 39 cents. You have to pay the difference in postage.

You are more than gracious and fair, good sir.

I think the next two down (hung and hypothalamus) could have been above the fold too

This limerick needs no critiquing!

Just give it the ink that I’m seeking!

It is clearly the best

Entry EVER expressed!

(Well, at least hyperbolically speaking.)

Objection. The four-wheel steering Hummer is not "gas-guzzling"; it is an electric vehicle. Still a behemoth, though.

The real issue with overcharging in criminal cases --- and vertical overcharging, in particular, where a crime is charged as a more serious one than warranted --- is the need for a revamping of the practice of plea bargaining by prosecutors. Most overcharging --- except where evidence or circumstances of a crime or crimes clearly exists beyond a reasonable doubt --- is ostensibly a tactic aimed at forcing a plea deal. This allows the justice system to essentially have its "cake and eat it too:" a conviction to satisfy society's need for retribution (and add to a prosecutor's conviction record, among other practical considerations), while showing its "compassion" for a defendant. In other words, justice neatly tied up with a bow. No muss, no fuss.

I like Cohen's sly suggestion that he doesn't get as much ink as his father because one of the readers of his entries is defective.

Jesse's "hue" and Craig's "hunchback" top my list.

Please enlighten me: "what's the deal with the "tch, tch, tch..." bit? I gather it isomething more than merely the usual time-killing nonsense noise.

I recently saw Dionne Warwick at the Warner Theater. She's 83 and looks and sounds great! Cher just looks downright scary.

Maybe it's my adolescent sense of humor, but my favorites were hummer and hyperinflation, both by C. Dykstra.

The first and third runners-up are timeless and a little dirty, so I liked them better.

My son is a millenial and Barry Louis Pollisar did a gig at our synagogue in Reisterstown MD. A fun time was had by all. Glad to have the brain cells stirred up!

Lotta good ones this week. If you got ink, it’s a safe assumption I liked it.

I'll do two "OMG!"s for the poor woman who had the dating service from hell - don't blame her, who'd every imagine it could be that bad and he wasn't ALREADY deep-sized??

The second 😱is for the roast beef place in Rosslyn. The Carriage House, I think? Ate there many a time in the 80s, and it was pretty worn out then. So sympathies all around.

Wish I were deep-sized, but alas I am not equipped to accommodate an in-depth probe.
