Whoops ... The Invitational has a little fix for this week's contest

We'd used the letter sets we used last year! Please use this new set!

Welp, this is an embarrassing one: The 33 seven-letter ScrabbleGrams “racks” we posted earlier today in The Gene Pool for you to make new words — Invitational Week 31 — well, almost all of them are the same ones we used in our 2022 “Tile Invitational” contest. (A relieved thank-you to eagle-eyed Loser Neil Kurland, who actually remembered such letter combinations as “ADEOPPS.”)

Anyway, we now have 33 never-before-used-in-the-Invite letter sets ready for your neologistic wizardry. They’re at this link, with formatting instructions, and also right below on this message. Deadline is still 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12. (The first four sets on the “wrong” list — the ones taken from the grid that’s pictured — are now the last four on the new, “right” list.)
