Thank you to reader Janet Chafin who linked us to this darkly prescient post by Ann Telnaes, originally published in 2019. That’s just one frame from it, above. You’ll find it a quick read — mostly political cartoons by one of America’s best political cartoonists, who quit her job yesterday after The Washington Post spiked a cartoon critical of the man who may own The Washington Post, but, quite clearly, not her.

When you're dealing with billionaires and wanna be billionaires, it's difficult to separate money and self-interest, but I clicked on self-interest since it sort of covers money, too.
Between stupidity, greed, and cowardice today’s was a tough poll. It’s quite the brew.
