And where is Mr Trump when the stock market is crashing and tornadoes are devastating parts of the country? At Mar a Lago hosting a lavish dinner with the murderous Saudis and playing golf in a celebrity tournament. Grrrrr!

Also when the four service members who died in Lithuania, did he go to Andrew’s to honor them? No he golfed with Saudis.

This is a great summation of Trump. Fuck You, and Because I Can.

And no, he doesn't have friends. He has paid lickspittles and toadies.

And what the lickspittles and toadies fail to realize is that you can never be loyal enough for someone as fundamentally insecure as the orange one. Give it time and they will all be cast away.

They never learn. Everything with Trump is one way. Displease him and they will be toast.

I read Gene's portion on "friends" to my SO and we said the same, almost word for word. Purchased and tossed in a million ways.

The 4/3 National Child Abuse Prevention Month proclamation has made me ill, as the parent of a transgender child, who is an adult. Come arrest me, you fat fuck!

I love the photo that shows, again, his attitude - that middle finger is a conscious gesture.

Oh, definitely. It's deliberate. He's done it several times.

I hope this all becomes the plot for a Greek tragedy: The Republicans in the House and Senate lose a fortune because of Trump and FINALLY agree to impeach and remove him. (It would be like someone surviving cancer and then dying of a mosquito bite). The Congressional Democrats can play the narrating Greek chorus.

Republican Senators have already saved him twice. I favor the odds if the mid term elections go the right way.

Burned through a $400+ million inheritance, had six bankruptcies, lost an airline, destroyed a football league, was convicted on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in the first degree. Why wouldn't anyone want to take financial advice from the guy?

I'm leaving a comment BIC. I, too, missed the billionaire reprieve and am gasping at the thought of how many terribly injured people Trump just re-f'd. [And I don't mean refinanced, which is what they will be doing if they are lucky.] This is crushing in a time when it's hard to see from under the many chunks of cement-like shit raining down on everyone. Giving a monster a second chance, boy howdy can he ever do the Tamerlane Tango. Grrrrrrrrr indeed.

Trump has wanted one thing his entire life that he never had or will have. The respect and admiration of decent people. Hence, the Fuck You attitude.

I am in the stock market only because my retirement funds are in the stock market and I have no real control over them. So I am just hoping to ride out this particular problem. I am more concerned about my offspring.

There needed to be another option:

No, this is a buying opportunity.

This is especially true for some younger investors who were looking for a chance to get into the market more for the long haul.

If --- and only if --- you are highly selective. But, with this bat shit crazy unpredictable and irrational asshole calling the shots, any analysis and timing is pretty much impossible for the near term. If you can afford to wait for a longer than usual long haul and have the stomach to watch your investment ping-pong like an Olympic table tennis match, then go for it.

Certainly, do not buy on a margin. A Margin Call can ruin the plan if you are short of funds.

This is useful. Encourage young people, already victimized by policy and debt to offer price support of securities owned overwhelmingly by (relatively) wealthy Boomers. Sure, some day the economy and stock prices will rebound, but there is no reason for short or medium-term optimism.
