You left out of your litany of Amarillo infamy probably its most notable claim to shame: location of the Amarillo division of the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas and lair of Judge Matthew J. (" Law ? Law ! ? We don't need no stinkin' law") Kacsmaryk.
Any microscopic inkling of sympathy I ever had for Melanie vanished when they left office and she did not immediately file for divorce. She chose to stay with a traitor who literally attempted to overthrow the government. She deserves no mercy.
Likely the relationship was based on what he knew about her, and he had a strong hold on her life. I think many do his will from fear of exposure. Only the Russians had time to collect that much dirt in DC.
Doesn't matter. They're tits. On her chest. Men will look favorably on anything or anyone who has them. If Mondays had tits, men would look forward to them.
Yes, I've seen this sort of thing before, though not this particular one. You have to admire the creativity of the person who figured out the makeup design.
In the 1970's I lived in Lubbock. People in Lubbock were jealous of Amarillo "because they have a beltway." Amarillo also has the Big Texan Steakhouse (which is NOT a reason for anyone to be jealous)
I was in college at UC Berkeley and heading to the BART station to go home when in a newspaper box The San Francisco Examiner (SF still had 2 papers: the Chronicle in the a.m. and Examiner in p.m.) with the headline that Mayor Moscone and Harvey Milk had been murdered. I had never bought an Examiner before, but I had a quarter in my pocket and purchased the paper and devoured the story on the way home. I remember watching the replay of the scene you mention broadcast multiple times on KGO-TV that evening. One of the saddest days for the Bay Area. But it made me an admirer of Diane Feinstein. I always hoped she'd be Vice President because she was one of the very few people in the USA who actually had to do what a VP's promary job is: to step in and take charge after a tragedy. (Though I voted for her in 2018, I had strongly hoped she would step aside. Much as I cringed when Nancy Pelosi announced she will run again next year. Step away! Go out in glory!)
Melania got what she paid for. She became a naturalized citizen. Her parents became citizens via the family-based immigration path that her husband and others of the party formerly known as Republican have derisively dubbed "chain migration." She had her child. Lived in the lap of luxury. Got to decorate the White House with Soviet-era ornaments specially flown in from the Moscow GUM department store. By all accounts, recently got a nice bump up in a renegotiated prenup. And all for one cringe-inducing two minute interval three times a year.
I could never understand anyone, at all, thinking "poor Melania." The idea she didn't know what she was getting is insane, and that any of her attributes were any more real than her boobs, well, come on you all.
Amarillo! When my family moved to Texas we moved to a place called Hale Center that is between Amarillo and Lubbock. Lubbock has Texas Tech and once had the most color televisions for a city of its size. (Lots of farmers sold farms and moved to the big city as thousandaires.) Amarillo was known as the wild cowboy town.
Then when I avoided the draft by joining the Army and going to Intel School, I was sent to Amarillo. Amarillo had a Resident Agent of Army Intelligence and an FBI station since the PanTex facility was making nuclear weapons. (Or close to it.) I had an garage apartment and loved the city. But I did not look for bars or that environment. My work was to interview people listed as references for security clearances and I usually talked to 50 people or so for job references, personal references and record checks. I was there for a year and a half before they sent me to Vietnam. That was not so good as I served with the First Infantry Division. But to sum up too much information. Amarillo was easy to live in, drive in and even the cost of living was reasonable on a PFC income. I even bought a used car.
Whatever you think of Melania, thanks to her (although grudgingly, you may remember ---"Who gives a f---k about Christmas" and "But, I need to do it, right ?) we got to see a White House decorated for the first time in Soviet-era splendor.
You get used to the trains. My first year in college, my dorm was very near a railroad track, and a train came through in the early morning. After about a week, the train whistle never woke me up--though in retrospect it would probably have been good if it had, as I had early classes.
Let's not forget Melania arrived on these shores with an O-1 "Genius" or "Einstein" visa requiring a demonstration of extraordinary ability by sustained national or international acclaim, or a record of extraordinary achievement in the motion picture and television industry, Not sure sexual prowess counts and quite frankly, didn't think her softporn stuff was all that good. But what do I know. The business has passed me by.
Amarillo is as you have described it, and Toledo (where, as you know, Pop was born), is almost as bad. They roll up the sidewalks for dinner and never put them out again until morning.
The town that really surprised me was Kansas City (MO) and I went there for a library conference. At sundown I expected to go for a walk downtown and find a place for a meal. Nope. Nobody walking to see or no places that were open for business. This was some years ago, but likely it is the same now.
In KC all the good restaurants (and shopping) were in a downtown-adjacent area called The Plaza. When I was kid there was only one restaurant we ever went out to at night in downtown proper. I was back there a couple of times a few years ago and there are a lot more restaurants, and entertainment areas built up in downtown, but I don’t know if it gets a good crowd because a friend was showing it to me during the day.
Yep. We got to Toledo (by Greyhound bus) at about 6:00 PM. Tried to find a restaurant within walking distance of the bus terminal. Not a chance. Had to phone for a cab, as there were no cabs around, not even at the terminal. While driving to the (nearest!) restaurant, over a mile away, we saw one gas station open, and nothing .... literally nothing ... else. This was before 7 PM. Left the next day and never returned. Did pass through Kansas City once, but it was daytime.
Speaking of rolling up the sidewalks, I lived for two years in Stillwater OK. Though in fairness, Stillwater does have the National Wrestling Hall of Fame & Museum.
period. He was a benign personality on Letterman. They clubbed. And his most malignant aspects didn’t surface until the campaign in 2016. She had a particular taste in men and decorations, who’s to dispute someone’s personal relationship or their art? Everyone templates their own virulent feelings on what she should do with him, but only she knows their personal relationship or needs to make her choices. She never ran for Miss Congeniality either, they thought he wouldn’t win and she cried on election and didn’t choose to be at this level of scrutiny. I’m not even trying to convince anybody, but isn’t it a true nickel back.

Of course she should have divorced him. Fucking an intern in the Oval Office with a cigar. The outrage!! She was total chickenshit staying with him.
Likely the relationship was based on what he knew about her, and he had a strong hold on her life. I think many do his will from fear of exposure. Only the Russians had time to collect that much dirt in DC.
Was that not Bill Clinton?
EDIT: MelaniA, not Melanie.
>>>As predicted, so far in the poll, men are somewhat more willing to give Melania some slack:
Well, yeah, Gene. That would be the tits.
But they look like a pair of hard ciabatta shoved under her skin.
Doesn't matter. They're tits. On her chest. Men will look favorably on anything or anyone who has them. If Mondays had tits, men would look forward to them.
Why do you have a neutral Category for the women votes and not for the men?
Your link to https://imgur.com/gallery/HwTmX9atiger produces an attractive 404 for me.
SORRY. This is the link. mgur.com/gallery/HwTmX9a. I will redo it Thursday.
Still wrong. Try https://imgur.com/gallery/HwTmX9a
Ah, yes. I had cut off the i in imgur. It's great isn't it?

Oh, I love this! Totally amazing. How can I find more of these? What do I search for? Thanks!
Me too! Best 404 I've seen.

In the 60's Lubbock had a "Loop." Perhaps not what they wanted. But ...

Shame, shame. You are trashing the town your daddy was born in.
Yep. That's why we stopped there in the first place. But you will note that he had the smarts to get the hell out of there at the age of four.

Would I be wrong in assuming its holdings now include a shower stall from an Ohio State athletic facility ?
